WE ARE CORNERSTONE
Cornerstone Youth Services Inc. was founded to support inner-city youth who face significant challenges and often lack stable resources and support systems. While working in inner-city IPS schools, I encountered students experiencing homelessness, food insecurity, parental incarceration, and households impacted by substance abuse. Witnessing these realities firsthand made it clear that many young people needed a safe space where they could be heard, supported, and connected to resources. Cornerstone Youth Services was created to meet that need by providing wraparound support such as mental health referrals, employment clinics, financial literacy education, and community resources designed to help youth build stability and avoid involvement in the juvenile justice system. Our mission is to bridge the gap between youth and the community, empowering young people with the support and opportunities they need to become the strong “cornerstones” of our future.

WHY CORNERSTONE?
Community-Centered Approach – We understand the unique challenges facing inner-city youth because our work is rooted directly in the communities we serve.
