MEET MILLIE
STUDENT OF THE MONTH
My name is Millie, and I am a 17-year-old student at Cornerstone. I am highly motivated and focused on both academic and personal growth. During my time at Cornerstone, I accelerated my education by completing two academic credits in one month, demonstrating my strong work ethic and determination to graduate during the first semester of my senior year. I have also completed driver’s education and earned CPR and AED certifications, reflecting my commitment to responsibility and community safety.

I currently serve as an apprentice at Lutheran Family Child Services under a three-year contract, working as a Behavioral Educational Specialist. In this role, I support younger youth by helping them understand their emotions and develop self-regulation skills, while also strengthening my leadership and mentorship abilities. Overcoming personal challenges has strengthened my resilience and shaped my passion for helping others. My long-term goal is to become a Physician Assistant by earning a bachelor’s degree in a science field followed by a Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies, allowing me to continue serving and supporting my community through healthcare.
